Grade, size and certificate combinations

The useful question is not what a plant can melt, but whether it supplies that exact combination with that document. This is the list.

Anything outside these combinations is quoted from the drawing. The list exists so a buyer can see the shape of what this plant routinely certifies, not to limit what can be ordered.

What a first order looks like

Four stages, each with something the buyer can check.

1

Read the drawing

Grade, condition, test specification and quantity are taken from it.

2

Quote the route

Forming or drawing, heat treatment, inspection — priced as one route.

3

Tooling, if needed

A new die is quoted as its own line with its own lead time.

4

Ship with the record

The certificate carries the heat number that is on the part.
